Watercolour is the least forgiving medium there is. The paint sinks into the paper and stays there — no covering a mistake, no painting over a passage that went wrong. What you get in return is light. Because the white of the paper shows through every wash, a watercolour glows in a way an opaque painting cannot, and holds a quietness that suits bedrooms, reading corners, consulting rooms and any wall where you want calm rather than statement.
Every watercolour at House of Art is an original, painted by hand on artist-grade paper and signed, supplied mounted and framed under glass with a certificate of authenticity. Sizes run from small studies to larger framed works, with commissions painted to your subject and palette.
