Questions

How do I pay?

By UPI. Choosing a plan opens a dialog with our QR code and UPI ID, and on a phone it can open your UPI app with the amount already filled in. You then send us the transaction reference or a screenshot.

When does my plan start?

Once we have confirmed the payment against our bank. Our accounts department updates you within 24 hours. Your plan starts then, and we email you.

Does it renew automatically?

No. We do not hold card details and take no payment online, so nothing is ever charged without you choosing to pay. We remind you by email well before your plan ends — a month ahead on yearly plans — and you renew the same way you first paid. Automatic renewal is something we are working on.

What happens if my plan ends?

Posting new work pauses after a 3-day grace period. Everything you have already published stays exactly where it is — your profile, your listings, your events. Renewing turns posting back on straight away.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. Choose another plan at any time and it applies from that day. Note that we do not currently pro-rate part-months, so it is usually worth switching near the end of your current term.

What do I save by paying yearly?

Yearly plans are charged for 10 months, so 2 months are free.

I also curate events. Is that included?

Artist plans cover your own work. Running exhibitions, workshops and programmes needs a curator plan. If you do both, get in touch and we will sort out something fair rather than charging you twice over.

Is there a refund?

If something has gone wrong — a duplicate payment, a plan that was never activated — write to us and we will put it right. For a change of mind mid-term, talk to House of Arts and we will be reasonable about it.
