A single branch, forked at both ends, is wound tightly in dyed fabric strips and suspended horizontally. From it, hundreds of individual strands fall — twisted, knotted, uneven in length, hanging the way growth does rather than the way anything manufactured does.

The colour moves in loose vertical bands rather than a fixed pattern. Deep reds and burnt orange dominate the outer edges, a band of turquoise and cobalt runs through the centre-left, and pale cream and ochre thread through the middle, catching light differently from the saturated colour around them. Nothing is symmetrical. Strands trail to different lengths, some ending abruptly, some curling at the tip, so the whole piece reads as something still settling rather than something finished and static.

The title carries the weight of the piece. Rebirth of Peace asks to be read as regrowth after damage — a bare branch, ordinarily a sign of something dead or dormant, made to carry colour and abundance again. The strands could as easily be read as roots, as hair, as rain, or as threads pulled loose and rewoven; the branch gives the piece its structure without dictating a single meaning.

This is an installation rather than a framed work, made to be hung freely against a wall so the strands can fall and move with the air in the room, casting shadow and catching light differently through the day.

It suits a stairwell, a double-height entrance, a hotel lobby, a gallery space, or any wall with real height and room for the piece to hang loose rather than sit flat.
